John S. Willian
Managing Director, Global Security Services/Securities Division, Goldman, Sachs & Co.

John is the global co-head of Prime Brokerage within Global Securities Services (GSS), Goldman Sachs Electronic Trading (GSET) and Futures Business. He is a member of the Finance Committee, Securities Division Business Practices Committee and Firmwide New Products Committee. Previously, he ran Municipal Sales and Trading from 2003 to 2007, Global Money Markets from 2000 to 2005, the Chicago Regional Fixed Income office from 1999 to 2000 and the Chicago Mortgage Sales desk from 1997 to 1999. He joined the firm in 1990 as a trader in the Mortgage Department prior to transitioning into sales. John was named managing director in 1999 and partner in 2002.

John earned a BS from the University of Illinois in 1985 and an MBA from the University of Chicago in 1989.
