Members of The Options Clearing Corporation’s (OCC) Roundtable received a closer look at the latest developments in the ENCORE™ system and were able to view simulations of ENCORE’s Clearing Member interface at the March 2002 Roundtable Meeting. The Roundtable, which meets three times a year, includes representatives from Clearing Member firms, the Exchanges and industry organizations. Geri Love,Vice President, Member Services, provided a tour of the ENCORE system with a presentation that utilized Macromedia Flash™ technology. The presentation demonstrated how to log on to and navigate through ENCORE and highlighted new capabilities.

“It really helped us see what it would be like to clear trades real-time,” said Tim Donohue, OCC Roundtable Member and Vice President, Bank of America.“ENCORE will ready the industry for T+1, as well as save a lot of man-hours and costs in data entry.”
